Offset Swirls

I decided to make another offset card for the StampTV MIUM challenge - Offset is Awesome. This time I decided to use swirls.

I started with a piece of white cardstock, stamped the two large swirls in the corners and cut them out with the matching die. I stamped the smaller swirls in blue to make the background and then thought it would look good if I stamped over the swirls with some copper ink that I have. I offset the copper to give a different look. Also, that meant I didn't have to stamp perfectly on top!

I stamped the sentiment and rounded the ends. I attached a piece of ribbon to the background and adhered it to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" blue card base. I popped up the sentiment and the offset large swirls with some foam squares.

Supplies used:
Gina K. Designs: Dazzling Dahlia stamp set and matching die
                             Especially for You stamp set
                             Blue Lagoon cardstock and ink
copper ink, white cardstock, ribbon and foam squares from my stash

  1. Dawn, this is so very pretty. Love all the swirls and the copper ink to off set them and the die cut corners.

  2. Fantastic design. I just love those off set swirls in your background.

  3. Love this card too...the cutouts look so nice with the background.

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate each one.
